Would your Car Survive a Zombie Apocalypse?
Throughout history, there have been various notices of pending doom and a forthcoming apocalypse that have been shared with a global audience. Many of these are drawn from religious text and interpreted messages from Biblical history, although the occasional prediction is based on real world events and happenings. The latest speculation surrounds the rampaging Ebola epidemic, which continues to claim lives in West Africa and has also threatened the borders of the U.S., UK and Europe.
This has been the trigger for a number of new apocalypse theories, with survivalists predicting that this is a plague that may wipe out the majority of the human race. Some go even further, as they suggest that the dead may subsequently rise from their graves and plunge the world into the depths of a zombie apocalypse. As strange and as far-fetched as these theories may seem (especially given the fact that the deadly Bubonic Plague failed to destroy a much smaller global population in less medically advanced times), they continue to take hold in the U.S. and even parts of the UK.
As both private and public bodies continue to fight the spread of the Ebola virus, however, these theories do pose an interesting question. Exactly what would survive a zombie apocalypse, and how would what qualities would humans and inanimate objects require to stand the test of time? Fortunately, SGS Engineering have these questions for us, and through their fascinating infographic they reveal exactly what type of car is best equipped to survive a potential zombie apocalypse.
