What will BMW bring this summer

The BMW is expanding its range of engines and offers a new generation of 4 cylinder diesel in the BMW Series 5 and additional versions for the BMW Series 2 Coupe, BMW Series 4 Cabrio and BMW Series 4 Gran Coupe. The BMW 518d and BMW 520d are equipped with a new 4 cylinder diesel engine, which combines increased power with reduced fuel consumption. Moreover, from the summer onwards, the BMW Series 2 will feature optional all wheel drive xDrive.

Still, 10 new versions of models will be launched in the BMW Series 4. As regards the Series 1, the equipment will be added to the new generation of Professional Audio and Navigation System Business. Other new proposals will be available by summer is the Edition Exclusive to the premium sedan the BMW 7 Series and expand the collection BMW Individual.

Premiere for BMW Series 2 xDrive and launch of the BMW M235i xDrive Coupe

The new BMW M235i xDrive Coupe carries constant power produced by the straight six engine of 326 hp to all four wheels, while the xDrive system will be available for the first time in the BMW Series 2 Cabrio. The second new addition to this range is the BMW 228i Coupe, whose 4 cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine delivers power 245 hp and torque of 350 Nm. The 0-100 kph is carried out in 5.7 seconds and the consumption is around 6.6 lt/100 km and emissions CO2 154 g/km. Overall, they placed three petrol and three diesel for BMW Series 2 Coupe.

Extends the range of engines for the BMW Series 4 Cabrio

The engine options for the BMW Series 4 Cabrio will increase from five to nine until the summer of 2014. The 420i Cabrio will be the new base model for the 2 liter petrol engine with TwinPower Turbo 184 hp and 270 Nm. The straight six petrol engine of 306 hp of the BMW 435i Cabrio is optionally combined with the xDrive system. The average consumption of the 4 wheel drive version is from 7.9 lt/100 km, while the CO2 emissions are of 184 g/km.



From this summer, the straight six diesel available for the BMW Series 4 Cabrio will adopt BMW TwinPower Turbo. The BMW 430d Cabrio has power of 258 hp and torque of 560 Nm, while the standard 8s transmission Steptronic, enabling it to 0-100 kph in 5.9 seconds. Its consumption is 5.3 lt/100 km and CO2 emissions of 139 g/km. The BMW 435d xDrive Cabrio delivers 313 horsepower and 630 Nm, while through the 8 speed Steptronic it reaches from 0-100 kph in 5.2 seconds and has consuption of 5.7 lt/100 km and CO2 emissions of 151 g/km.

BMW Series 4 Gran Coupe: New engines and more models with BMW xDrive

The family of BMW Series 4 Gran Coupe gets 5 more versions, while in the 4 versions, there is the system xDrive. These are the BMW 420i xDrive Gran Coupe of 184 hp and the BMW 435i xDrive Gran Coupe with straight six motor of 306 hp. The duo BMW 430d Gran Coupe and BMW 430d xDrive Gran Coupe also make their debut this summer. The straight six diesel of 258 hp combined with 8 speed Steptronic in both models, allowing the rear wheel drive version do 0-100 km/hr in 5.6 seconds.





The most powerful straight six diesel of 313 hp is combined with standard all wheel drive and 8s Steptronic gearbox in the BMW 435d xDrive Gran Coupe. It needs just 4.8 seconds to reach from 0-100 kph, while the consumption is 5.6 lt/100 km and the CO2 emissions of 146 g/km.
