Volkswagen T6 will arrive in 2015
The Volkswagen T5, the fifth generation of steel transporter was launched on the European market back in 2003 achieving excellent sale results. In 2009, the commercial vehicle of Volkswagen received a deep and mechanic restyling which led to the introduction of a range of sophisticated technologies such as common rail diesel and dual clutch gearbox seven speed DSG. Despite the record of sales and an excellent reputation built over the years, the T5 is preparing to retire by 2015 when the brand new Volkswagen T6 will debut which promises a revolution in its segment. The aesthetics of the future Transporter have recently been advanced by the vehicle Eco Volkswagen and Co Motion, a prototype equipped with a sophisticated electric drive and developed to overcome the problem of the urban transport deliveries.

If you were to trace the size of the eCo Motion Volkswagen T6 would measure 4.55 meters long, 1.90 m wide and 1.96 m high with a maximum load capacity of 4,6 square meters, a real record for the category.

The vehicle can be equipped with a wide range of diesel and petrol engines all supercharged with outputs that could exceed 220 hp. The vehicle may be equipped with only the front wheel drive or four wheel drive with the most practical 4Motion while as regarding the type of transmission, it will be available in six speed manual and the sophisticated dual clutch DSG gearbox.
