The 2.0 liter boxer engine of Subaru origin with the Toyota D-4S injection with double overhead camshafts in the head, bore and stroke of 86X86 mm offers 200 hp and 205 Nm of torque at 6600 rev/min. The more honest qualities of this engine are the adoption of a compressor HKS GT and the addition of a sports exhaust system capable of raising the performance of the engine by 58 HP and 91 Nm for a total of 258 hp and 296 Nm of torque. The increase of torque and power has necessitated the change in the suspension with the addition of new Hipermax IV which is more rigid than the standard and equipped with shorter springs while the braking system has undergone an upgrade that includes the assembly of the system developed by Dixcel.
