The new Lotus Esprit going into production

The new Lotus Esprit is going on production. According to the latest auto news there is a confirmation of the project by the manufacturer to finally give the green light to the production of this amazing car. One of those you have confirmed this is Farikullah Aslam, CEO of Malaysian DRB-HICOM group, owner of the British brand. All 1,189 British jobs would be safe since they will be also updating the models currently in production: Elise, Exige and Evora. For the moment, it seems that the future of Lotus is a bit less difficult, despite just 800 registrations this year, of which only a hundred in England.

If the Lotus Esprit will actually be produced, as has been reported, the same can not be said for the other models announced at the Paris Motor Show which apparently would have been deleted from the projects of the brand and are absent at this year’s French venue.
