The new Gallardo will be called Huracan LP 610-4

New leaks of the Italian automaker revealed the successor of the Lamborghini Gallardo, which will be called Huracan LP 610-4 and will carry a V10 5,2 liter, 610 hp engine. Teens and adults, lovers of this specific supercar, are more than excited with the announcement. International news leaked several official photos of the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, but a few minutes later they removed them to keep a little more suspense to the public. On the other hand, there were several websites that kept these photos and republished them, revealing the beauty of the Italian supercar.

Bear in mind, that the name Huracan comes from the Mayan dialect, which symbolized the deity of hurricanes, tornados and fire. It is equipped with a 5.2 liter V10 engine which gives 610 horsepower and nearly 575 Nm of torque in order to reach the 0-100 km/hour in less than 3.2 seconds! At the same time, the transmission will be transferred to all four wheels through an automatic transmission with double clutch.

Regarding the design of the new supercar, we see that it has abandoned some of the corners of the outgoing Gallardo, with a more aggressive style with elongated headlights. It is indicative that the sill and the side vents are particularly threatening, combined with the steeply raked windshield.

New rumors say that the new Huracan  is based on the second generation platform of Audi R8, and because of the extensive use of carbon fiber it will be particularly light, not exceeding 1,500 kg. Finally, the sales manager of Lamborghini, Fintan Knight, had said earlier that the successor of the Gallardo can later be launched with a rear-wheel drive version, but certainly it is not in the plans of the brand manual transmission or a hybrid version.
