The Great Ferraris of Sergio Pininfarina exhibition | Open until February 24
In late October, the Ferrari opened the exhibition “The great Ferrari of Sergio Pininfarina“, in which are housed 22 models, including many exclusive cars from Maranello. The great success of the exhibition inside the Ferrari Museum of Maranello, convinced the Italian house to an extension: the exhibition was to be closed on January 7, instead will remain open until February 24. This is because there are thousands of visitors from all over the world showing huge interest on this special exhibition and car models. This exhibition is in memory of Sergio Pininfarina who passed away in July of 2012, aged 85. He and his impact to ferrari car models will never be forgoten and this exhibition proves that.
The cars are exhibited in three themed rooms that illustrate the work of Pininfarina on racing cars (“Pininfarina and races“), on a road car (“Pininfarina and Gran Turismo cars“) and experimental models made by the body Turin (“Pininfarina concept car“). To the cars were added many new materials from the personal collection of the family and the company of Cambiano as the mask in wooden form.
For visitors there will be a surprise in store at the Museum: a large sculpture “Structuration F1 Ferrari“, that features a Formula One car. The sculpture was recently inaugurated by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa and is located just in front of the Museum of Maranello.
