The extraordinary Bertone Nuccio

At Geneva Auto Show 2012 was showcased for the first time the unique Bertone Nuccio in a celebration for the one century presence of Bertone company in the design industry. The name was taken from the son of the car manufacturer’s designer Giovanni Bertone. Nuccio was the one who took over the business in the 50’s until he died in 1997.

The car model which was presented in the auto show made the event unique this year. It has a pure styling concept that focuses on the environment and of course performance. The car can be described as low and muscular which is like all concept cars coming from Bertone. It was inspired by the Alfa Romeo Carabo, Lancia Stratos Zero and the Lamborghini Countach but it is nothing like them. This mono volume design was taken to the new level and is considered to be an integration of those cars.

Nuccio is a car model that was developed in order to stand out in the future. The design was a promise of Mrs. Lilli Bertone to her husband Nuccio. The promise was to keep on making the car design company leaders in the car industry.

Compared to a standard car chassis, the roof is lighter and stronger. It is something that is very innovative for futuristic cars. Orange is the color of the unique Nuccio Bertone which is unique and the symbol is very creative. The interior and the exterior of this Bertone Nuccio Concept car is inspired by the nature and the future. The interior is filled whith geometric shapes and it designed with minimalist concept which makes it quite similar to a sports car. In the exterior, the light is made from LED which extends to front and back areas of the car.

This model has a cab forward structure which means that passenger cabin is situated forward and the space for the engine is smaller. Basically it integrates the hood, windshield and the trunk. The body side of this car was enhanced by intermixed of concave and convex lines and gives you the impression of flexing muscles. The visual of the car is just like Stratos Zero because of its large and tapered windshield. The shape of the car is trapezoidal. The secret for the overall look is two A pillars which starts at the headlights down to the rear. This design is often called “the eyes of the crocodile”.
