Subaru has brought three new European premieres at the Motor Show of Geneva: theBRZ, the Impreza five-door hatchback and the Advanced Concept. The BRZ is a car which is mostly spoken in recent months: the twin GT-86 has the same 2-liter D4-D 200-horsepower boxer that relies on a single rear-wheel drive. The mass of only 1220 kg makes it sporty and fast despite not having a stratospheric power engine. This model is dedicated to those seeking to drive pleasure and sportiness in a compact car which is easily manageable.
The 5-door Impreza is also presented in the European premiere of the new 4-cylinderboxer gasoline engines from 1.6 liters and 114 horses under the hood of this XV crossover. Subaru also celebrates the fortieth anniversary of the symmetrical all-wheel drive, which is why the house of the Pleiades has set up some sites with driving simulators that show the evolution of the four-wheel drive during the year.
The third car is unveiled for the Advanced Tourer Concept, unveiled at the last exhibition in Tokyo and arrived for the first time on European field. The prototype sedan proportions features a boxer engine with a hybrid HEV: the thermal engine is a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo with direct injection. The traction is complete and the transmission is entrusted to a Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission. The interior of the car is futuristic but an elegant screen entertainment system is integrated into the steering wheel and the cockpit is very bright thanks to the glass roof.
