Porsche escapes the full specifications of the 918 Spyder hybrid

Carscoop has published an apparently official document containing details on the full specifications of the Porsche 918 Spyder, the German supercar that in the latter period of fatigue tests carried out with its already final body. The 918 Spyder uses, as known, a platform plug-in hybrid consisting of a heat engine, an electric module and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox PDK. The 4.6-liter V8 delivers 580 hp and develops a power output of 125 hp / l reaching a maximum speed of 9,000 revolutions / minute and is combined with two electric units: the front seat is a motor of 80 kW (109 hp), while the rear position is a module of 90 kW (122 hp). The total power therefore amounts to 780 hp.

The 918 Spyder measures 4643 mm in length, 1940 mm in width and 1167 mm in height, for a step of 2,730 mm. The mass has instead been lowered to 1,700 pounds, while the luggage compartment will have a volume of approximately 100 liters. The scheme provides technical wishbone suspension at the front and multilink at the rear. It’s expected to have an electro-pneumatic option to vary the height from the ground in addition to the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The braking system incorporates disks in composite materials and the system to recover energy during braking. The lithium ion battery has the capacity of 6.8 kW and delivers 202 kW.

It reaches a top speed exceeding 325 km / h and consumes less than 3 l/100 km in combined cycle, for a total of 70 g / km of CO2. In electric mode – the driver can choose between the options of driving E-Power, Hybrid Sport Hybrid, Hybrid and Hot-Lap Race –  which travels up to 25 km, at a maximum speed of 150 km / h.
