Nissan GTR Track Edition | Produced only for America
The Nissan GT-R is not powerful enough? If you have an American passport and a suitcase full of dollars to invest then the new GT-R Track Edition may be for you. But hurry because only 150 will be produced. Analyzing the changes in detail we find that the Track-Edition – the name says it all – has an aesthetic where the spoilers stand, front and back, carbon, 6 spoke forged wheels and Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT tires are reinforced and inflated with nitrogen. Proposals in the colors are Deep Blue Pearl, Jet Black, Solid Red, Gun Metallic and Pearl White is an even more evil version of the standard, but the most substantial changes are those found under the skin.

In fact, the engine was fitted with new injectors to improve delivery of between 4,500 rpm and 6,000 rpm and the oil pan has a baffle to stabilize any turbulence and the pressure of the liquid under extreme conditions. The brakes have been treated with special attention to the cooling system, while the suspensions are gas-filled dampers, stiffer springs and a calibration developed on the nurburgring circuit.

All this combined with the motor around 550 hp, all-wheel drive ensures a distribution of torque between the two axles up to 50% – 50% and a rear differential racing is a deadly cocktail for true lovers of the guide between the curbs. Even within, the changes are designed to save weight, such as quilted fabric in place of the rear seats.
