New Nissan Qashqai | The absolute crossover
Nissan Qashqai was the first crossover in history and has established itself on the market thanks to the combination of high driving position – typical SUV – combined with the compactness and practicality of a saloon. Compared to the previous generation, the new Nissan Qashqai has a more sleek and aerodynamic design. The modern LED headlights, stylish and innovative, lend elegance to the style and safety when driving at night, while the stylized grille proposes a new design of the Japanese model.
The large taillights, along with the big rear spoiler, are key elements of the Nissan Qashqai which is now longer by 49 mm, wider by 20 mm and has a height that is lower than the previous generation. The size of the boot is also generous, as it now offers a load volume of between 430 and 1533 liters.
The interior has been completely redesigned and offers beautiful finishes. The instrument cluster is enhanced by a 5-inch display that allows you to monitor the control functions of the frame, while the 7-inch touch screen in the center of the instrument panel provides the Nissan Connect access to the functions and the Around View Monitor.
Technological and safe, Nissan Qashqai protects its passengers with the Nissan Safety Shield, a system composed of a series of devices that: prevent the frontal collision by activating the brakes; show the presence of other vehicles in the blind spot of the exterior mirrors; optimize nighttime visibility with High Beam Assist and monitor the surrounding space at any instant. The innovative parking assistance system evaluates the available space and activates the automatic parking system for a perfect maneuver.
Driving behavior is outstanding, as the Nissan Qashqai is dynamic and responsive in all driving conditions thanks to the perfect road holding that is guaranteed by active controls that allow the frame to set the best trajectory and deal with the fast corners on a stable and secure. The front suspension is McPherson, while at the rear have the wheels interconnected for the 2WD version and Multilink in 4WD variants.
Three engines are available for the Nissan Qashqai will indicate the new 1.2 DIG-T 116 hp and 190 Nm, capable of emitting just 129 g / km of CO2 and settle for 5.6 liters of fuel per 100 km; the 1.5 dCi 110 hp and 260 Nm, which boasts a record consumption (3.8 l/100 km) and emissions of 99 g / km of CO2; and the 1.6 dCi 131 hp and 320 Nm of torque well to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 9.9, to touch a maximum speed of 190 km / h.
