New Honda HRV in 2014
The fact that Honda is preparing a small Crossover is already known. Besides, the Japanese made their intentions clear by presenting the report of Detroit in January 2013 the prototype Urban SUV Concept. The French L ‘Automobile revealed the plans submitted for patenting by Honda, which revealed what actually is expected. The new model will have small difference in appearance from the Urban SUV Concept. It is the successor of the HR-V, which will have to reattach the Honda in a category that essentially the same set up in 1998 and in 2006 and then left without representation. Nevertheless, the success of Nissan Juke has attracted almost all manufacturers to provide their own models such as the Chevrolet Trax, Renault Captur, Opel Mokka and Peugeot 2008.
The official premiere of the small Crossover of Honda is expected to be in the lounge of Tokyo in late November, with production starting in 2014. It will initially appear in Japan and the U.S. to follow later the European markets. The Urban SUV based on the new platform Global Compact Series used by the new Jazz, from which it borrows smart solutions spaciousness and usability as the rear seats Magic Seats.

Although it is still unknown the engine range is almost certain that under the hood of the small Crossover will find the new position 1.600 diesel i-DTEC who first met in the new Civic. Indeed, there are reportedly plans for hybrid version with 1.5 liter petrol engine, electric motor and speed dual clutch 7 speed i-DCD.
