New Ford Mustang Cobra Jet | Ready in 2015
The sixth generation of the Ford Mustang will be unveiled to the public in 2014 only to arrive in American dealerships in early 2015. The new generation of the famous American muscle car produced since 1963 will be declined in the total special version Cobra Jet which is already in the development phase as confirmed by the words of Jesse Kershaw of Ford Racing. In an interview with the press, Kershaw has in fact revealed that: “Our goals remains the same as always to create a car that is highly competitive both in terms of the price and performance.” Kershaw has also confirmed that the launch of the new Cobra Jet could be set during 2015, probably towards the end of the year.

The current Mustang Cobra Jet presented at the beginning of 2011 and produced in a limited series of just 50 units sold at $ 104.000 each which is about 80 thousand Euros at current exchange rates, equipped with a powerful 5.4 liter V8 with Ford TVS compressor capable of unleashing a power of 430 hp which rises to a height of 475 hp if you opt for the Ford Racing Whipple supercharger.

The tradition of the Cobra Jet dates back to 1968 when the first version of the Mustang was fitted by a huge 7.0 liter V8 engine equipped with a carburetor quadricorpo equally powerful and stronger than a power output of 335 hp.
