New FIAT Panda Cross | Hardline version

The new FIAT Panda Cross is a more hardline version of Panda 4×4, which will have additional choices in all wheel drive and a manual 6speed transmission. The new FIAT Panda Cross wears a more adventurous garb, which makes it a non distinctive in appearance wheel drive vehicle. The intense off road character portrayed by external touches, since the mini model of the Italian brand has onto the front bumper in a protective shade of titanium, protecting the front of the vehicle if the driver exaggerating. In the same color are painted and side protectors, which are mounted on the doors, while the back follows the same philosophy. Also, the FIAT redesigned luminaires increased the dimensions of the roof rails and offers different design 15 inch wheels in anthracite hue, compared to Panda 4×4.

For the interior there is still no leaked photo, but it is thought that it will have new colors, perhaps equipped with automatic climate control system and infotainment Blue & Me with steering wheel. The raised Panda is also provided with electronic locking differential (ELD) and features four wheel drive selector, which allows the driver to choose between three different programs: Auto, Lock and Hill Descent. According to Fiat, the Cross has the best angle of approach and escape with respect to the 4×4.

Regarding the mechanical parts, the new FIAT Panda Cross is fitted with 1.3 liter. Multijet II diesel 80 hp and the 2 cylinder 0.9 liter TwinAir, while the second will be combined with a manual 6speed transmission, which was shorter escalation in 1st gear. Finally, the new Fiat Panda Cross will go on sale in Europe later in 2014.
