General Motors has released the first official images related to the relevant technical details of the new generation of the SUV GMC Yukon declined in the entry level version Yukon, the luxurious Yukon Denali and the long wheelbase Yukon XL. The new generation of the GMC Yukon earns more modern aesthetic characterized by bold and sharp strokes like those in the new headlights with LED technology separate from the huge front bezel embellished with horizontal chrome strips on the standard and XL while the Denali boasts a honeycomb chrome grille. Even the rear is restyled as well as gaining new headlights also with LED technology. The sides can be customized instead with the adoption of a wide range of alloy wheels with sizes ranging from 18 to 22 inches. Compared to the short wheelbase, the Yukon XL has a pitch greater than about 38 cm while the length of the vehicle increases by 50 cm. The engine range includes the new units belonging to the family EcoTec3 among which we find the powerful 5.3 liter V8 that debuted this year on the new GMC Sierra 2014 which is available for both models Yukon XL and Denali as it earns a 6.2 liter V8 unit. Both units are combined with six speed automatic transmission Hydra Matic 6L80. The new Yukon family will be built at the GM plant in Arlington, Texas and is expected to debut in the U.S. market during the first quarter of 2014.
