Ford Mustang celebrates 50 years

Ford Mustang is celebrating half a century since the legendary car was presented in America, while the upcoming sixth generation model will be released for the first time and now in Europe. Since 1964, they appeared on the American streets, the Ford Mustang, became a symbol of status and desire of many potential buyers, as it always stood out for its imposing presence. More specifically, the 1st generation dated from 1964-1973, was designed by the team of Gene Bordinat and stood out for the huge front bonnet, the compact cabin and the relatively short rear deck.

The 2nd generation dated from 1974-1978, was characterized by a more balanced design, with the company’s efforts to focus on a longer wheelbase to offer more comfort to passengers.

The 3rd generation dated from 1979-1993, finally stepped into a bigger platform, while the front and the hood became more aggressive. In fact, this time the brand tasted different versions of this model, such as a 3-door, shooting brake and more, with a most memorable edition wagon, brought burl wood exterior.

In the 4th generation dated from 1994-2004, the model had to do with the use of a longer front rear platform, which completely changed the philosophy of the car, while they emerged their first roadster versions.

Finally, the 5th generation dated from 2005-2014, focused on more retro lines and several curves, trying to balance between modern design and a number of strokes of the past.
