Car Review: 2015 Mazda 6 Tourer
One of the most trusted car brand around the world is Mazda. It has been supplying the United and other parts of the planet with some of the most sought-after models.
This year, the car brand has revived its Mazda 6 Tourer. What makes it different from other models?
The Mazda 6’s cabin is super comfortable with lots of adjustment in the steering wheel. In fact, there’s enough room for a couple of adults at the back. It’s also electrically adjustable seats, offering good lumbar support allowing passengers to find the perfect position.
To add to the Mazda 6’s practicality, an impressive 506-liter boot capacity, this can increase to 1648 liters if the seats are folded.
You will notice the luxurious feel of the plush interior. Although the dashboard buttons use soft-touch plastics, most of them feel decent. In general, the quality is high and every model has a much-improved infotainment that includes a 7-inch touchscreen.
The Mazda 6 is available exclusively in Sport Nav trim, comes equipped with LED headlights, foglights, as well as 19-inch allows, heather leader seats, surround audio system, sat-nav and new head-up display.
With the new Mazda 6, two seconds have been taken off the total time it takes for the car to hike up in power, from 0-62mph, which becomes more noticeable when accelerating. However, there’s a fair bit of wind noise as well as road noise entering the cabin.
Even with large 19inch alloys, this new Mazda soaks up road imperfections, coasting along smooth surfaces and gentler bumps. Although bumps have become apparent at higher speeds, it’s still another improvement for the 6.
So now the question that begs to be asked is: should you buy the Mazda 6 Tourers? For one, it has a very capable engine and impressive luggage capacity. For another, it is faster and relatively more spacious.
